At Resplendent Day Spa, our customers experience a wide-variety of treatments to soothe the body and mind. Our unique approach to massage incorporates practices from all over the world and we customize each massage based on the patients individual needs. Massage involves acting on and manipulating the body with pressure – structured, unstructured, stationary, or moving – tension, motion, or vibration, done manually or with mechanical aids. Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, joints, or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic vessels, or organs of the gastrointestinal system.

Massage can be applied with the hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearm, and feet. There are over eighty different recognized massage modalities. The most cited reasons for introducing massage as therapy have been client demand and perceived clinical effectiveness.

About Our Owner - Yvonne Tuchscher

Yvonne Tuchscher, owner of Resplendent Day Spa has spent 22 years practicing and sharing her specialized knowledge of ancient and modern scientific therapies for beauty, health, and healing. A licensed massage therapist and cosmetologist, Yvonne has completed over 1000 hours of specialized training including Swedish/deep tissue massage, sports, and neuromuscular therapy.

She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She graduated from the Institute of Therapeutic Studies in 1994 and John Perry’s Beauty College in 1978. She has completed over 100 hours of advanced studies each year, learning the ancient secrets of healing and rejuvenation that are an essential part of her practice. She works closely with medical professionals to develop a holistic alternative for healing.
